About us
CELPATA is a non-governmental association that comprises of vet/vet assistant, technician professionals from six districts of Galmudug Somalia-namely Adado, Abudwak, Gaalkacyo, Hobyo, Bahdo and Herale in Galgadud and Mudug regions. A group of vet/vet assistant professionals founded the association in 2013 in Adado district, Galgadud region, Somalia. The aim of the establishment of the association was to revive and restore the collapsed livestock delivery services as result of the absence of the central government of Somalia, which caused the livestock communities to have been, faced with livestock health and production problems.
Our mission
CELPATA is engaged in developing livestock health and production services as well as marketing systems and environmental protection with collaboration of key stakeholders in order to improve socio- economic conditions of rural and urban livestock community in
Galmudug state.
Our VISION
(CELPATA) wants to be a sustainable, respectable, capable, and committed professional association that provides comprehensive vet services to enhance both rural and urban livestock production systems and environmental protection programs in order to upgrade wellbeing of its members and the socio economic conditions of the society in Somali particular Galmudug state.
